Ricky Martin - "Adios" [Music Video]
The vide is out! Puerto Rican star Ricky Martin just premiered on VEVO the official music video for his new song "Adios" ("Goodbye" in Spanish). "Adios" - whose production is like a combination of "gypsy music" and "Latin music" - serves as the latest single from Ricky's yet-untitled forthcoming bilingual tenth studio album due in stores "soon" via Sony Music.
Ricky released the audio of "Adios” on iTunes EXACTLY one month ago. So the timing for the video premiere couldn’t have been better, huh? He’s a man of precision. The Spanish version of "Adios" has been very well received by the US Latin community so no doubt it’ll be a hit in that “segment”, but the important question, will the English of “Adios” have the same fate?
"Adios" video review
Directed by Ethan Lader, the video for “Adios” sees gay singer Ricky Martin being the main entertainer at a cabaret. Actually, he’s more than the “performer” there. He’s also the bar man and a mafia man-looking customer. Besides scenes of Ricky slaying the stage with this showmanship, the video for “Adios” also shows a handful of sexy female cabaret dancers doing lap-dances to few lucky men in the crowd.
