RedFoo & Paloma Faith Perform New Singles on "The X Factor Australia"
In the latest "live decider" episode of "The X Factor Australia", RedFoo and Paloma Faith were the guest performers. That’s right; the LMFAO star was on double duty on Monday night (September 1st). Did you know RedFoo is a judge on the Australia edition of the talent show, right? (I know what you're thinking..."how is he judging talent?". I thought the same thing.)
RedFoo – who is currently working on a major label debut album – dropped in August his newest single "New Thang", and he performed it for the first time live on "The X Factor Australia" tonight. The party-record with the infectious saxophone melody is, as of this post, Top 5 on iTunes Australia thanks to this performance. Last year, RedFoo released another single; “Let’s Get Ridiculous”. #1 in Australia! He’s really “big” there thanks to the "X Factor”. If I were RedFoo, I would only release that upcoming debut album of his in Australia. The rest of the world only cares about LMFAO not RedFoo, the soloist.
Performance review: Just awful. He’s gained weight and he dares to wear leggings? Awful “vocals”, and watching those girls twerk for him was embarrassing.
Paloma Faith performed on Monday night at "The X Factor Australia" her new international single "Only Love Can Hurt Like This”. The beautiful ballad Diane Warren wrote for Paloma for her album “A Perfect Contradiction”.
Performance review: Solid performance! Still not fond of blonde Paloma, though. She looked fierce with red hair...blonde, not so much. Judging only the vocals, though, she did a great job on "The X Factor". She really owns "Only Love Can Hurt Like This” every time she sings it live.
