Read Descriptions Of All Songs On Camila Cabello’s Debut Album!

camila cabello music

UK tabloid The Sun had an exclusive early listen of Camila Cabello’s debut studio album in its entirety this week. And thankfully they wrote down some details about each of the songs so we can have an idea of what to expect. Thank you, The Sun, because many Camilizers, including us, just can’t handle the long wait until January 12th. We needed at least these descriptions... in view Camila might not release any more promotional singles until the album is out.

Here they are (just descriptions of the songs we haven’t heard yet):

ALL THESE YEARS: It’s a bittersweet acoustic introduction to the album about an encounter with an ex. She sings: “Your hair’s grown a little longer, your arms look a little stronger. Your eyes just as I remember, your smile’s just a little softer.”
SHE LOVES CONTROL: A sultry summer number flecked with Spanish guitar and a thumping bassline. Camila unapologetically opens with the lines: “Cold, ‘cause she has been here before, she doesn’t cry anymore, no looking back.”
INSIDE OUT: This sunny reggaeton tune features a bouncy and danceable melody and suitably playful lyrics to boot. She sings: “I wanna love you inside out, show me what your inside ‘bout.”
CONSEQUENCES: Her most deeply personal and tear-jerking ballad with her powerful vocals against a delicate piano. She sings about the impact of a partner on her life, even revealing: “Lost a little weight because I wasn’t eating.”
SOMETHING’S GOTTA GIVE: There is a serious piano introduction into this heartfelt number with ethereal backing vocals. She sings: “Something’s gotta change but I know it won’t. No reason to stay, it’s a good reason to go.” At another point she adds: “I think I’m breaking right now.”
IN THE DARK: This smooth R&B tune is all about trying to get a partner to open up to her to make their relationship work. She hums: “Why can’t you show me who are you in the dark? Show me the scary part."
INTO IT: The sexiest tune with sharp and catchy production. After opening with falsetto vocals, she croons: “I’m into it, whatever trouble that you’re thinking, I could get into it. I see a king size bed in the corner we should get into it.”

They all sound exciting! And we’re loving the lyrics they shared.

But we think we’re most excited about “She Loves Control” and “Into It” from the descriptions. What about you?
