R. City & Adam Levine - "Locked Away" [Music Video Premiere!]
Adam Levine goes completely bald in the “Locked Away” music video. The “Caribbean hip hop” song is the lead single from the upcoming major label debut album of R. City, a duo who hail from the U.S. Virgin Islands, and who during their ‘production team’ days helped helm hit records such as Miley’s “We Can’t Stop” or Nicki Minaj’s “Only”.
The music video for the Dr. Luke-produced track, which was “inspired by the Thomas brothers’ experiences growing up with a father who was in jail for six years during his sons’ childhood”, premiered online today (August 14th) on VEVO, and it shows Timothy “A.I.” Thomas and Theron “Uptown AP” Thomas going through difficult times, and a rebel-looking girl getting arrested by the cops, and a bald Maroon 5 leader Adam Levine reflecting in his room as he sings the catchy chorus of “Locked Away”.
