Premiere: Black Eyed Peas - "Yesterday" [New Song + Music Video]
The Black Eyed Peas are celebrating this year their 20th anniversary as a band (although unfortunately Fergie is joining the celebration as she didn’t become part of BEP until 2012 - and not 1995) and throughout 2015 they’ll be dropping new music and surprises. Earlier this year they debuted a new song titled “Awesome” live at Coachella (during David Guetta’s set) and last night (July 17) another new song was premiered by Zane Lowe during the broadcast of Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio. The new song, titled “Yesterday”, unlike “Awesome”, sees Black Eyed Peas taking it to the start. They sound how they sounded in their beginnings. No paraphernalia, just hip-hop.
Only hours after the Zane Lowe premiere, BEP released the official “Yesterday” music video, via the Apple Music ‘network’ too. The visual shows Will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo enjoying the day at a record store where they will have fun holding CD cases and Vinyl packages in the air as they shout-out their favorite artists/bands ever.
