Pitbull Hangs Out with Adorable Penguins in "Celebrate" Music Video
Can’t stop LOL-ing about this YouTube user comment: “This is what happens when you get too high” but anyways. Pitbull premiered last night (Oct. 21) a very cute music video for his song "Celebrate" where he hangs out with four adorable computer-animated penguins. They are the "Penguins of Madagascar” actually. “Celebrate” is part of the soundtrack of the upcoming DreamWorks Animation’s movie (but also part of his upcoming studio album “Globalization”) and it was obvious the video for the song had to be featured scenes with the Penguins.
“Celebrate” is a song very a la “Fireball” – same Latin, big band sound – so its music video had to be both energetic and fun to watch. And Pitbull's nailed it! Well, the director did...but you get the point. In the clip we see Pitbull and his Penguin friends hanging in the studio and on stage at his world tour. There are also scenes with footage from the actual movie "Penguins of Madagascar” and random, but very cool, images of cities of around the world: Rio, Madrid, London, etc, etc.
I would normally label a music video of these characteristics as “mediocre” and “forgettable”, but those adorable penguins are preventing me from writing such review. They’re just too cute to hate. So, Pitbull, I’m going to give you a 5 star review for the “Celebrate” music video just for the penguins. There you go.
