Phillip Phillips - "Raging Fire" [Music Video]
Phillip Phillips gets body-painted in the music video for "Raging Fire". The Gregg Wattenberg-produced folk-rock number is the first single from the American Idol Season 11 champion's upcoming sophomore album "Behind the Light", in stores May 19th.
"Raging Fire" isn't a #1 hit yet, but it will slowly get there. You just wait and see.
Just like "Home", I'm confident Phillip Phillips' brand new single will be a late-bloomer. Just give it time! The song is just too great to flop. "Raging Fire" was released on iTunes and sent to radios only early last month, so there's plenty of time yet before we can call this 'flop'. The song has thus far peaked at #58 on the Billboard Hot 100, it just cracked the Top 30 on AC radio, and has jumped five positions to #15 on Triple A.
Phillip Phillips is currently intensifying the promotion for "Raging Fire", and today (April 10), he premiered via VEVO the music video for the single. Watch below!
I'm not going to lie...it could have been better! The close-up shots when we see Phillip performing "Raging Fire" with his guitar are undoubtedly the best. You can feel his 'raging fire' passion. The rest of scenes see the "Home" star showing us the landscape of Chicago downtown, and belting out the lyrics of his new single at different locations and neighborhoods in the city. Also, we get to see Phillip lying down on a huge sheet of paper as people start painting on it until they get to Phillip and paint over him too! When all the painting is over, the camera zooms out and a red heart figure is revealed.
