Pharrell Launches Femininity-Inspired Art Exhibition In Paris, Titles It 'GIRL'
Producer, fashion designer and singer of ‘Happy’,
what else did Pharrell really need to add to his already impressive résumé to
make it even more impressive? Well… curator at his own art exhibition that is!
After performing live before a crowd of thousands at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend music festival in
Pharrell’s exhibition is to be held at Galerie Perrotin’s new art space, the ‘Salle de Bal’ in
'GIRL', Pharrell's new art activity... not his album, is 'a show encompassing around 40 art pieces, including 10 specially commissioned works for the occasion, from a group of 34 creatives presenting their visions of femininity, paying the homage to muses and female creativity and freedom’. This according to a press release.
