O-Town - 'Skydive' [Music Video]
The O-Town members hit the hot desert in the
overdramatic music video for ‘Skydive’. The power ballad is the lead single
from the boyband’s comeback album ‘Lines & Circles', due in stores on
August 3rd via All About The Melody Records. Yeah, they are not backed by a
major label in this 'coming back' endeavour. And O-Town are missing a member in
this 2014 comeback as Ashley Parker Angel has refused to rejoin the
once-successful boy band formed in the early 2000s on MTV's 'Making the Band'.
‘Skydive’ doesn’t sound like a hit, it’s not an intelligent single to try to pull a comeback, it’s not the best ballad I’ve heard, and since there is no real hype for a O-Town reunion I sincerely doubt radios will want to support this song. And unfortunately, the music video, premiered on VEVO on June 19, isn't helping either. It just doesn't go anywhere and it's so overdramatic. O-Town hit the desert, belt the song on top of gigantic rocks, and a pretty lady gets all of the attention as she seems to be going through difficult and angry times.
