OneRepublic’s New Song “Let’s Hurt Tonight” Debuted at Apple Music Festival 2016: Must-Watch Performance!
A studio version is not needed, I already know it doesn’t get as good as this.
Just amazing!
American rock band OneRepublic was the headlining act last night, September 21, at Day 4 of the Apple Music Festival 2016 that is being held this month at The Roundhouse in London, England.
Yesterday the Ryan Tedder-led band offered the London crowd an hour-long concert where they played a handful of their all-time hits and also songs from their upcoming fourth album, entitled “Oh My My”, which will hit stores on October 7th.
The OR fans who got tickets for last night’s show were in incredible luck because one of the songs from the band’s setlist was entirely new; an unheard song from “Oh My My”. This was “Let’s Hurt Tonight”, which if you check is the album’s opener.
For OneRepublic to have specifically chosen to perform this song and not any other must be because they are planning on releasing it as the latest countdown single from “Oh My My”. So expect it to see it on iTunes either tomorrow or next week.
Totally impressed by “Let’s Hurt Tonight” but particularly by Ryan Tedder’s live performance of it last night in London.
Oh my god, he truly gave his all at this performance and he nailed it. And song is pretty vocally demanding. So wow.
This is what I call singing for your LIFE!
Also, loving very much the main metaphor in this song: “If pain is love, then darling, let’s hurt tonight”. Aw!
