One Direction - "History" [Music Video Premiere!]
They went straight for the emotions.
One Direction premiered the official music video for their song “History”, included on their fifth and possibly last album ever as a band, “Made In the A.M”, today (Jan. 26) on VEVO – I bet all my money the original premiere date for this video was this Friday but they had to reschedule to avoid direct attention-competition with Zayn’s first solo single “Pillow Talk” that drops Friday.
Will “History” be the last single off “Made In the A.M”? God only knows. But it would definitely be a great song to wrap up this One Direction journey, huh? “History” has the perfect title for a career’s final single.
The music video – watch below – shows the remaining One Direction members belting out “History” in front of a tall brick wall and sporting their best hipster looks as black and white footage of their beginnings gets displayed. There’s footage of their audition at “The X Factor UK” (yep, Zayn is there), concerts they’ve performed, backstage moments, or footage of their goofing around at hotels. Very emotional and nostalgic indeed. I actually thought for a second that they were going to leave Zayn out of the picture but nah, they included him. Such good-hearted fellas!
