One Direction - 'Best Song Ever' (Music Video)
One Direction get goofy in the music video for "Best Song Ever", a new catchy pop/rock anthem that serves both as the first single from the British boyband's upcoming third studio album (due in stores in late 2013), and as music from the soundtrack of Zayn and Co.'s debut 3D concert-film/documentary "This Is Us" (in theaters August 29).
"Best Song Ever" isn't obviously the best song ever, but it's a pretty nice continuation of the One Direction bubblegum pop/rock style that we all love. The 'oh, oh oh' and 'yeah, yeah, yeah' bits slay lives. As for the song's music video, the guys have given the "Best Song Ever" a 'fun' MV treatment. The 'plot'?. Each 1D member has an alter-ego in a production company hired to 'make their new movie'. In between alter-ego presentations, fun dialogues, Zayn in 'drag' mode, and behind-the-scenes footage of the latest One Direction tour, the "Best Song Ever", again, doesn't have 'the best video' in the world, but it's cute. Regardless of everything, "Best Song Ever" is already a smash, sitting at #1 in pretty much all the iTunes charts across the planet. The 1D-mania is still going strong!
