Written and produced by Rami Yacoub, Carl Falk and Savan Kotecha, the trio behind One Direction's chart-topping hit "What Makes You Beautiful", "Live While We're Young" is a new super catchy, care-free feeling, radio-friendly tune that has '#1 worldwide hit' written all over it. "Young" could perfectly be part of "Up All Night", you know, since it has the same DNA of all the songs on that album. But should 1D fans feel actually sad the band show no progress sound-wise in this new era?. Nah!! Catchy pop/rock tunes are their thing, and they should stick to that sound. As for the "Live While We're Young" music video, it captures the essence of the song pretty well. It shows the band members enjoying a camping day with a bunch of friends where there'll be singing and dancing together, riding a jeep at full speed, goofing around in the lake, or getting wet in a plastic pool. By the way, nice move by 1D's management to give Zayn more lines to sing on the new single. They know this will make fans happy! And that should translate in greater sales.
