Olly Murs - Oh My Goodness (Music Video!)
Loved the concept! British pop star Olly Murs debuted the music video for 'Oh My Goodness' via VEVO on Friday (February 24th) - The song serves as the official third single from Mr Murs' sophomore album "In Case You Didn't Know", which has already scored the platinum certification in the UK, with over 300,000 copies sold. Huge congrats! As for the newly-premiered 'Oh My Goodness' MV, it had Marcus Lundin sat on the director's chair - who also filmed the 'Dance With Me Tonight' clip - and its 'concept' is so simple, but sweet. Olly spots a lady he fancies while going up an escalator and decide to chase after her through the Westfield shopping centre in East London to ask her out. Will he catch her? Watch above!
Further explaning the origin of the video treatment, Olly Murs told fans on the behind-the-scenes footage; "He [Marcus Lundin] came up with a really quirky idea of me running through the whole video". "At the time when I saw the script I thought it was really good concept - me running after a girl and there will be some really cool shots and slo-mo's". "But actually, being here [on set], it's really tough. My feet are killing me, I think I've pulled a few muscles and I'm sweating!". LOL. He actually ran the whole video, minus a few 'segway' seconds. That's cheating! Anyway, I'm happy for Olly's success, he's clearly proven to be the most succesful contestant of season 6 of The X Factor UK. I mean he's already got two albums, and three #1s! Go Olly.
