Official: Lady Gaga Nominated In These Golden Globes 2019 Categories...
So it starts. Lady Gaga just received her first nominations for “A Star Is Born”. The Golden Globes 2019 nominations were announced this Thursday morning and the “Born This Way” singer managed to get nominated in the following categories:
Best Motion Picture - Drama
"Black Panther"

"Bohemian Rhapsody"
"If Beale Street Could Talk"
"A Star Is Born"
Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama
Glenn Close ("The Wife")
Lady Gaga ("A Star Is Born")
Nicole Kidman ("Destroyer")
Melissa McCarthy ("Can You Ever Forgive Me?")
Rosamund Pike ("A Private War")
Best Original Song in a Motion Picture
"All the Stars" ("Black Panther")
"Girl in the Movies" ("Dumplin'")
"Requiem for a Private War" ("A Private War")
"Revelation" ("Boy Erased")
"Shallow" ("A Star Is Born")
So Lady Gaga has three chances to walk on stage as a winner (two would be with her getting an individual award and one as part of a group). I will have my fingers crossed on January 6th, when the Golden Globes 2019 air, so Gaga walks on stage three times that night. It will be tough, yes, but I really think the possibilities are high. For sure she will win “Best Original Song” for "Shallow", though.
May I remind you Lady Gaga already won a Golden Globe back in 2016 for her role in “American Horror Story”.
