Nicki Minaj Premieres 2 New Songs, Announces Fifth Studio Album!
Last night on the latest episode of “Queen Radio” on Apple Music, Nicki Minaj premiered two new songs – well, new ‘freestyles’ to be more precise. The first is called “Barbie Drip”, a freestyle over Lil Baby and Gunna’s 2018 smash single “Drip Too Hard”, and the second “Barbie Goin’ Bad”, a freestyle over Meek Mill and Drake’s “Going Bad”. It’s rumored Nicki will keep releasing freestyles non-stop until the release of her new album. New album? Yes, you read that correctly. On top of throwing shade at her former boyfriend Meek Mill and Drake on “Barbie Gon’ Bad”, Nicki drops the bomb that her fifth studio album is finished. Uh-huh, it seems like the follow-up to “Queen” less than a year later!
During #QueenRadio, Nicki Minaj announced her 5th studio album is finished and her label is ready for the first single.
