Nicki Minaj Performs 3 "Pinkprint" Songs on SNL: Watch Full Set
Nicki's third album “The PinkPrint” is just two weeks away from arriving in stores and the female rapper knows the promotion has got to begin NOW – in order to get the best first-week sales possible. For this reason, Iggy Azalea’s nemesis was the musical guest on the December 6th episode of “Saturday Night Live”. Nicki performed three songs from the upcoming “The PinkPrint” divided into two stellar performances.
She opened with the Skylar Grey-assisted “Bed of Lies” (produced by Alex Da Kid) wearing a red two-piece outfit and a very old-Nicki dark wig. Skylar sounded wonderful in her parts (chorus and bridge) and showed off her talent with the piano. Nicki Minaj on her side sold the emotions of the song superbly well with her rapping.
Next up was a medley performance of “Only” and “All Things Go”. The latter – produced by Boi-1da - was recently released as the first “iTunes countdown single" from “The PinkPrint”. It seems Nicki realizing of the positive reception the song’s had in her fans decided to include the song last minute to her set. I'm glad she did because “All Things Go” is just dope and a great song!!! By the way, by far this see-through outfit she wore for this medley performance was the best of the night. So scandalous!
