Nickelback - "Edge of a Revolution" [Music Video]
Avril Lavigne’s husband Chad Kroeger is back at his good ol’ job of being a rock star. He's re-assembled Nickleback, got a new record deal with Republic, and the band will be dropping a new album ("No Fixed Address") on November 4th. Lead single of the LP is "Edge of a Revolution”, a song with a political protest message. Uh-huh, Nickleback have found their “anti-system” calling just like Green Day found theirs years ago in the “American Idiot” era. Will this change in sound work for Nickleback or do you think it’s going to make their career end?
The full music video for "Edge of a Revolution” premiered on Friday, September 5th.
"Edge of a Revolution” music video review
Directed by Wayne Isham (he directed most of your faves’ music videos in the 90s and early 2000s), the "Edge of a Revolution” visual stays true to the song lyrics (watch via VEVO/YouTube below). Chad Kroeger and the rest of Nickleback perform before a crowd of young kids at a school class where they'll teach them to doubt the current system and fight for their own beliefs - and not what society tells them to do. As the rock band preach their speech to the sat-down younglings, footage of wars, demonstrations, and repression acts will be displayed on the wall behind them.
