Ne-Yo - "Coming With You" [Music Video Premiere!]
He keeps on releasing singles because the previous were so successful?
Ne-Yo's new album "Non-Fiction" is already a flop and it's not even out yet. All of the singles lifted from it have tanked on the charts and the only thing 'Ne-Yo' that's playing on radios right now is his collaboration with Pitbull's "Time of Our Lives", which isn't doing amazingly well either.
"Coming With You" makes three the official singles taken from "Non-Fiction" so far and the album isn’t out till January 27th (two weeks from now). I guess Motown Records feel like they shouldn’t throw in the towel just yet especially when the album hasn’t hit stores yet. They’re making Ne-Yo remain happy for now. You know he would be insanely pissed if his label CEO would tell him: "look man, we are not pushing any more singles. The album's ill-fated. You should be happy we are even releasing it". So they're just pretending things are 'alright' by releasing yet another single; "Coming With You" in this case.
Does the song sound like an album savior? Unfortunately for Ne-Yo, no. The Stargate-produced R&B-dance mid-tempo is dry, dull, flat and forgettable. The music video they’ve shot for it is pretty cool, though. This just got premiered on VEVO and can be watched using the embedded player below:
A pier, Ne-Yo sporting some nice shades (what brand are they?), and sexy girls showing off their sexiest dance moves and doing some jogging on the beach sand. Not bad. Sad that the song it was shot for is crap, though.
