New Version Of Selena Gomez’ “Good For You” Music Video, Now With A$AP Rocky In It, Premiered!
Selena Gomez’ new single “Farting Carrots” “Good For You” received the music video treatment back in June and surprisingly the version of the Hit-Boy and Rock Mafia co-produced synth-R&B song performed in the video was the ‘solo’ one only featuring Selena vocals and not the ‘main’ version of the single, the one playing on radio, that is the ASAP Rocky-assisted one. Was the rapper maybe unable to make it to the video shooting back then due to his busy schedule and that’s why a Selena ‘solo’ version had to be shot? Go figure! But today, August 19th, almost two months later, a ‘new’ “Good For You” music video has been released online, on VEVO, and this version DOES FEATURE ASAP Rocky – woot! I like his rap in this song a lot. Certainly Interscope Records must’ve had no problem green-lighting this new video version as “Good For You” is performing extremely well sales and charts-wise.
And ok. This ‘new’ music video isn’t entirely new as most of the Selena Gomez scenes we have already seen (although some are unseen material) - you know, those where she lies on the green couch, takes a steamy shower, etc – but the ASAP Rocky scenes are indeed new. He raps his verse in a room with multicolor lights lighting up the background, and Selena Gomez' scenes from the ‘original’ Sophie Muller-directed “Good for You” also being beamed in the back.
Selena's new album "Revival" is out later this year.
