New Song: Kings of Leon - 'Supersoaker'
They've been playing it on their latest concerts, but here's finally the high-quality studio edit of Kings of Leon's new single "Supersoaker". The Nashville, Tennessee rock band stopped by for an interview on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show on Wednesday (July 17), and amid questions and answers, they world premiered the audio of "Supersoaker".
"Supersoaker" is the official lead single from Kings of Leon's sixth studio album "Mechanical Bull", due in stores on September 24 via RCA Records. Produced by Angelo Petraglia, "Supersoaker" is just pure awesome KOL music. The fellas are faithful to their blues.y, country-ish, rock sound. "Supersoaker" has a fantastic melody, and Caleb kills it again with his raspy, soulful-rock vocals. There's also a great 'guitar break' in the song. And I see the Kings of Leon guys decided to stay on 'more lighthearted than serious' ground for the lyrics. "Supersoaker" is a strong first single, and a summer jam radios should love! The new song is available for purchase from today, July 17, on iTunes.
