New Song: Jonas Brothers - 'First Time'
Listen now to the high-quality studio version of the Jonas Brothers' brand new single entitled "First Time". The 'Pom Poms' follow-up becomes the second official offering from the America pop trio's upcoming yet-untitled fifth studio album, which Nick, Joe and Kevin will release under their own label, Jonas Enterprises, later in 2013, and not anymore under Hollywood Records. Both parties ended their contractual relationship last year.
"First Time" was one of the new songs debuted live during the Jonas Brothers' brief 'reunion' tour they performed in select cities across the world in late 2012. Unlike the hot mess 'Pom Poms' was, the new single "First Time" sounds more decent. Yet, it's quite obvious, it's going to flop on the charts too. Why?...well, it's nothing exciting, and sounds more like an album track, than a single. "First Time" is a mellow pop song, with a main production consisting of guitar, and drums, and subtle electronic elements. I know the Jonas Brothers want to show their fans how much they've matured musically, but it's pure-pop, radio-friendly songs like "SOS", or "Burnin' Up" that are going to make Nick, Joe and Kevin get back to the top of the charts. This new, 'mature' stuff, just won't.
