“Omen” is the official first single from English electronic production duo Disclosure’s forthcoming second studio album “Caracal”, out in stores around the world on September 25th via Interscope Records.
The electronic, feel-good “Omen” features the vocals from soul man Sam Smith. This isn’t Disclosure and Sam’s fist collaboration. Remember 2012's “Latch”? That song was their first studio work together and it was included on Disclosure’s debut LP “Settle”. “Latch” was a major hit all around the globe but its performance in the US was what really stood out: Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, and over 3 million downloads sold. Will “Omen” better this?
“Omen” world premiered on UK radio at 8:30 am (UK time) today, July 27th. Capital FM and BBC Radio 1 had the honor to give the song its first plays. Disclosure and Sam Smith together made in-studio appearances to premiere “Omen”.
