New Song: Diana Vickers - 'Cinderella' [Full]
Diana Vickers finally debuts the full audio of her brand new single "Cinderella". The English singer uploaded a lyric video for her pure-pop song earlier on Wednesday (April 24) on her VEVO page - watch below - ahead of the single's iTunes release next July 21.
It's been three long years since Diana's debut album "Songs from the Tainted Cherry Tree" which spawned the #1 UK single, "Once" back in 2010. The following singles didn't perform that well on the charts though, and the project went to be abandoned. Months later, it was announced Diana had parted ways with her record label, RCA due to 'creative differences'. Now signed to an 'indie' label, So Recordings, Vickers is back on business, putting the final touches to her much-anticipated sophomore studio album which wil see the light of day later in 2013. The first single is the sweet-pop track "Cinderella".
"It's a play on the classic Cinderella story, but in this version she's fallen for her prince so much she would lose both her shoes on purpose if it meant she could win him", commented Diana about her new single. "Cinderella" is definitely a cute pop song, It's light, breezy and wistful! I'm hoping the UK audience will love this when it gets officially released this summer.
