New Song: Ashley Tisdale - 'You're Always Here'
She is coming with a new album soon. This is
not the first single just yet. Ashley Tisdale released on iTunes on Monday,
December 16th a brand new song called "You're Always Here". The cute
and loving mid-tempo pop song is “a new stand alone single in remembrance of
Ashley’s late grandfather”. An unspecified percentage of proceeds will be
donated to St. Jude Children’s
From what I understand, Ashley was really close
with her grandfather, who passed away this earlier year, and she’s releasing
this incredibly good song as some sort of tribute. The lyrics are really nice.
As a matter of fact, the production as well. Ashley’s fiancé Christopher French
produced "You're Always Here". Nice work, huh? The only piece of
criticism? Well, I have the feeling either Ashley or Christopher was really
hooked on Imagine Dragon’s “Demons” at the moment of the creation of the "You're
Always Here" because the melody of both songs is super similar. In any
case, that doesn’t mean Ashley’s spankin’ new piece of music is bad. As I've
said, I'm nicely surprised. Lyrics, melody (“Demon"-esque or not),
production, and vocals are solid. Make sure to buy it on iTunes ‘cause either
way it's a good purchase, since proceeds will go to a good cause like St. Jude
Children’s
Hopefully Ashley will keep this style of music in her upcoming album. It fits her, and it's definitely a step up from her previous Disney-fied music.
