Performances: Taio Cruz On 'Leno', Kelly Rowland On 'X Factor Germany', T-Pain On 'Jimmy Kimmel'
Taio Cruz' new album entitled "T.YO" (nice...you are so clever Taio) got released on Tuesday, December 6th, and that same day the British singer-songwriter kicked-off the promotional rounds on American TV in support of his Dr Luke-produced party-tune, and he better do a performance per day til next week, cuz "Hangover" is flopping bad, plus my crystal ball is telling me that "T.YO", the album, might actually miss the Top 10 when the numbers are in for the Billboard Top 200 chart...I mean, there's just no Taio hype right now. Anyhow, Mr Cruz performed 'Hangover' last night on 'Jay Leno'. Watch above! Yikes...it's like watching his old performances. He needs a new look! Again the all-black ensemble, sunglasses and scarf...come on! As for the performance itself, I did like the live instrumentation. :)
Ms Kelly Rowland caught a flight to Germany on Tuesday to appear on the finale of the latest 'X Factor Germany' season. The 'Work' singer duetted with a contestant there, and later returned to the stage to perform solo her new RedOne-produced single "Down For Whatever". MUCH better than last week's X Factor UK gig. She got rid of the dancing, and focused this time on the vocals. She murdered it!
Finally, auto-tune self-proclaimed king T-Pain took the stage on ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' on Tuesday night. The American 'singer' delivered a new televised performance of his smash hit "5 O'Clock". Still no Lily Allen guys...one day...one day. T-Pain did 'good' by his standards, but shame at the dead crowd. Don't they know "5 O'Clock" is a huge hit right now in the States?
Which performance did you like the most?
