New Music: Union J - "You Got It All" [Audio / Review]
Capital FM gave the first play of Union J’s brand new single “You Got It All” at 8AM (UK time) on Wednesday, October 15th. The pop ballad is the official second single – after summer’s “Tonight (We Live Forever)” – from the British boyband’s forthcoming sophomore studio album due in stores "soon".
Earlier this year it was reported that Union J had left RCA and signed a new deal with Epic Records UK. Apparently, RCA didn't like the fact the guys were unable to score a #1 hit single. Their first Epic single “Tonight (We Live Forever)” only peaked at #9 in the summer so there might a chance Union J's new label is feeling a bit worried too. Will “You Got It All” bring tranquillity in Union J’s camp? Hopefully, because I fear that if they don't get a #1 soon they might be label-less in 3, 2, 1. Check out a radio rip of the new Union J single below.
Union J's “You Got It All” is officially out in the UK on November 30th.
“You Got It All” song review
Interesting. A ballad. Does this sound like a #1 song to you?. Ooh, this is going to be make or break for Union J, huh? A ballad? I was not expecting this. "Some people got passion / Some people got wisdom / But you got it all", sing Union J in the first verse of their new single. The message of the song is praising a girl for being...pretty much...perfect. This a pretty emotional ballad but I think it's a very risky single choice and I don't think "risky" is what Union J need right now. "You Got It All" better debut higher than “Tonight (We Live Forever)” because otherwise...
