New Music: Silentó - "All About You" [Full Audio / Review]
Silentó, the 17-year-old who took YouTube, radios and charts by storm this summer with his super catchy breakthrough single “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)”, premiered a brand new song titled “All About You” today (Oct. 15) on SoundCloud. The Atlanta singer is currently busy in the studio recording his full-length debut album that is expected to come out in early 2016 via Capitol Records and “All About You” is believed to be a track from said upcoming LP.
“Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” was a goofy but totally addictive song and its lyrics (about every darn dance move there is in this world) easily made it a heavily-requested and popular one at parties and clubs everywhere whereas “All About You” is a bit more “common” in the sense the theme it’s about (a boy telling a girl how much she means to him and yada yada yada) is more in line to what’s playing right now radios and it’s a theme often used in R&B songs. Yet, this “commonness” is compensated with an infectious synth urban/pop production and a super duper fly singing/rap swagger by Silentó.
“All About You” is hot and totally makes me excited about what’s to come from this rising star from ATL.
