“It's a better place since you came along”, sings Rachel in the chorus, and yes, it is a love song about feeling super grateful for having found the right partner to spend the rest of your life with. “Better Place” is a 2 minutes and 58 seconds praise about this joyful fact. Mix this heart-warming theme with Rachel Platten’s angelic vocals and what you get? Pure slayage. I swear to God every new track I’m hearing from “Wildfire” sounds like a radio hit to me. So how come she hasn’t scored a real smash since “Fight Song”?. Unbelievable and unfair!
