First they released "Sleeping with a Friend" and now "I Love You (But I Hate Your Friends)". Neon Trees' third album "Pop Psychology" is definitely going to be an interesting one. This arrives in stores across the U.S on April 22.
The pre-order for "Pop Psychology" is available right now, and "I Love You (But I Hate Your Friends)" is a track that has just been 'liberated' for purchase, but it looks like the new 'friendship anthem' is going to be Neon Trees' next official single too! Check out above the official artwork for "I Love You". It's got a...ehmm...'banana' theme!
As for the song itself, "I Love You (But I Hate Your Friends)" is typical Neon Trees alternative rock. Lyrics are relatable (I guess) and band frontman Tyler Glenn shows off again his incredible singing skills. This guy must be a beast LIVE!
