New Music: Neon Hitch - 'Love U Betta'
After four buzz/promo singles, British electro-pop singer Neon Hitch (who US listeners can currently hear on Gym Class Heroes' new single 'Ass Back Home') is finally stepping out with the real thing, a *fierce* tune we can dub as her 'official debut single'. It's the Benny Blanco-produced "Love U Betta" (or 'F*ck U Betta' in its explicit edit). Neon Hitch had actually debuted this new song in recent live shows, but it wasn't until yesterday (January 3rd), when we could finally listen to it in all its high-quality studio glory. Listen above!
"Love U Betta" is flawless stuff! It's got good energy, an awesome/original electro beat, sassy lyrics, a catchy hook, and I'm loving the Hold It Against Me-inspired dubstep break. All in all, "Love U Betta' sounds to me as the perfect first single release. Top 40 worthy? You got it! Be on the look for Neon Hitch's Warner Bros. debut album "Beg, Borrow and Steal" later in 2012. Can't wait!
