New Music: Meek Mill - 'Ice Cream Freestyle' / 'The Get Back'
Now that Meek Mill is a free man, it's right back to the music. Tonight the Philly native gives Hot 97's Funk Flex the green light to premiere two brand new tracks. The first is a freestyle over Wu-Tang's classic 'Ice Cream' instrumental and the second a solo track titled 'The Get Back' produced by Jahlil Beats.
"Talked to the Shmurda's and I told them keep ya head up / And when you touch down stay focused and get ya bread up" raps Meek on 'Ice Cream', speaking on Bobby Shmurda and his GS9 team getting arrested. 'Ice Cream' hears the MMG rapper address real life issues while 'The Get Back' is more of track reminiscent of his signature upbeat style.
Meek Mill's much anticipated sophomore LP 'Dreams Worth More Than Money' is due out later this year. The album is expected to feature artists like Chris Brown, Rick Ross, and Ty Dolla Sign as well as include a sequel to his popular 'Dreams & Nightmares' intro.
