New Music: Jesse McCartney - "The Other Guy"
Jesse McCartney premiered on MTV.com on Friday, July 18, the ballad “The Other Guy”, a new track from his forthcoming fourth studio album “In Technicolor”, which will be dropping in stores very soon (next Tuesday!). This will be Jesse’s first release not supported by a major label, as he’s releasing “In Technicolor” through his newly-founded own independent label, Eight0Eight Records. He parted ways with Hollywood Records after “Departure” (oh, the irony!).

Pretty incredible, isn’t it? “The Other Guy” is potentially one of Jesse McCartney’s finest recordings ever. Even he's found a new comfort zone in R&B and jazzy/funk beats, Jesse still had room to included one or two pop records on “In Technicolor”. “The Other Guy” is one of those exceptions, as it’s an astonishing pop ballad boasting piano and strings in its production. Add glorious vocals by Jesse, and a relatable story about the relationship of a man and a woman and you have “The Other Guy”.
