New Music: Jamie Lynn Spears - "How Could I Want More" (Single Premiere)
Of course there was a reason Jamie Lynn Spears would appear in a duet with her big sister Britney on her upcoming album "Britney Jean". They recorded "Chillin' With You" to give Jamie's just-begun music career a boost. Say what? It's the truth. Jamie Lynn Spears released by surprise on iTunes on November 25th her first single ever, "How Could I Want More", and it hears Britney's sister feeling comfortable in the "country" genre.
It definitely seemed strange Jamie and Britney would do a collaboration together for "Britney Jean". It had an explanation, in the end. Britney wants to help her sister out. She can't get Jamie to sign to a major label just yet (she's releasing this country song through her own label Sweet Jamie Music, Inc), but an apperarance on her new studio album "Britney Jean" will do for sure for now. It's major exposure for the little Spears sister.
"How Could I Want More" is a tender country ballad in which Jamie Lynn opens up her heart, and sings about her quest to find Mr. Right. What took Jamie so long to break, properly, into the music scene?. Well, after doing her thing on Nickelodeon's Zoey 101, she got pregnant at 16, and for the last six years she's been raising her daughter Maddie, so Jamie has had her hands full. Now she finally finds time to sing.
