New Music: Havana Brown - 'Flashing Lights'
Australian singer Havana Brown has recently premiered the full, high-quality studio edit of her new song called "Flashing Lights" - via a lyric video posted on VEVO - that is to serve as the official first single from the 28-year-old's upcoming debut full-length album, whose title and release date are still unknown. We do know RedOne's label, 2101 Records (under the Universal Republic umbrella), will be supporting Havana in the States.
Contrary to what many believed, Havana Brown - who took the Dance/Club charts by storm last year with "We Run The Night" - has decided to not start her 'debut album' era with a dancefloor-ready cut, but a more laidback one. That's correct, "Flashing Lights" is a laidback, disco-funky pop song. I am quite liking it (cute it is), but keeping it honest, at least from the first listens, I don't see monster smash hit potential in "Flashing Lights".
