New Music: Drake - 'My Side'
Those who purchase the retail version of Drake's acclaimed 'If You're Reading This It's Too Late' mixtape in stores on April 21st receive an extra bonus track not found on the digital copy entitled 'My Side'. The tune is a solo cut from the Toronto rapper and spans just under five minutes in length.
In terms of quality, 'My Side' is up to par with the rest of the tracks on 'If You're Reading This It's Too Late'. The slow-paced song hears Drake address disconnection in a past relationship, "Why you never come to where I stay? / Always hiding out in your New York condo" he sings.
'If You're Reading This It's Too Late', which was released on iTunes on February 12th, includes two bonus tracks. The first of course being 'My Side' and the second 'How About Now' produced by Boi-1da. 'If You're Reading This It's Too Late' has already surpassed the platinum mark in sales and now with physical copies being released the total count will only continue to add up.
