Rising New Orleans crooner August Alsina teams up with YoungJeezy for his latest single release 'Make It Home'. The smooth tune will be appearing on August's forthcoming album 'Testimony' due out on April 15th via Def Jam Records. Produced by The Featherstones.
"If I don't make it home tonight / Tell my momma that I love her, leave some flowers for my brother" sings August on the hook. 'Make It Home' serves as the lead single from 'Testimony', which will be August's first major album release since signing to Def Jam in 2012. The Louisiana-born artist recently built his buzz up with the popular single 'I Luv This Sh*t' off his 'Downtown: Life Under The Gun' EP.

“As an artist, I struggle with how much of myself to give to the people. How much I want my personal business to be judged. I think the EP struck good a balance of who I am and what I’ve been through, but that was just the beginning. Nothing is held back on ‘TESTIMONY’. When people hear my story, and see that I came from nothing, they’ll see that it’s possible for them too.”
