Neon Hitch just premiered on YouTube the colourful and summery music video for “Yard Sale”, the lead single from her upcoming gypsy-pop debut album “Eleutheromaniac”. “Yard Sale” is available for purchase on iTunes and Amazon starting this very morning and Neon's decided that today (August 5th) is the day to premiere the music video too! A day full of Neon Hitch and I love it!
Although it’s getting digitally released Tuesday, Neon Hitch premiered the “Yard Sale” audio last week on SoundCloud. From the first second of the gypsy music-inspired beat I knew I was going to love “Yard Sale”. Neon sounds just fabulous in it! What a tune, and how lovely this newly-found gypsy-pop genre by Neon Hitch is! Warner Bros. Records should have never let Neon go!
“Yard Sale” music video review
A pink-haired Neon Hitch holds a yard sale outside her house in a trailer park. Neon's neighbours are left speechless by the things she’s selling, which are all the stuff she shared with her ex boyfriend, who by the way is tied, shirtless on the floor! The Charlie Zwick-directed “Yard Sale” music video also sees Neon Hitch swinging on a flower-made swing, resting on a mattress on the pool, and performing a cute choreography with two girlfriends in the street. The ending scene sees Neon Hitch and her friend, who looks exactly as Redfoo of LMFAO, lifting a box and throwing it in the trash. I actually thought it was the ex boyfriend's body, but its content is actually rather surprising and unexpected. Won't spoil it for you, but it's something Zebra-related.
