Music World Reacts To Route 91 Harvest Festival Shooting In Las Vegas
Terrible news coming from Las Vegas. A gunman killed 50 people and injured over 400 on the Las Vegas Strip late Sunday, October 1, at the final day of the Route 91 Harvest Festival, a country music festival. The sniper-style gunfire from this “lone wolf” attacker rained down from the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino around 10 p.m. local time (the gunman fired from the 32nd floor) over thousands of country music fans located at ground zero. As of this post, the Las Vegas Police Department has announced that the gunman has been killed in a standoff with law enforcement authorities. A search was underway for a woman described as the suspect’s “traveling companion,” the Police Sheriff declared in an official statement.
