MØ Serenades A Girl In "Nights With You": Single Premiere!
So MØ’s second full-length studio album is coming?
The Danish singer world premiered a new single entitled “Nights With You” tonight via Mistajam’s BBC Radio 1 show. The track is said to be from an upcoming LP.
Writers of the song are: Benjamin Levin, Magnus August Høiberg, Ryan Tedder and Sophie. While producers are: Sophie, Benny Blanco and Cashmere Cat. A few big names, huh? This truly must be from an upcoming album. Woot!
“Nights With You” is an mid-tempo electronic song where MØ sings about wishing she could spend all the nights with “taken” special girl. “Don't care about your boyfriend waking up alone / I’ll take you out tonight”, MØ sings. Although she doesn’t explicitly says it, is she saying that she wants to get down and dirty with this girl? Is MØ coming out as a bisexual in this song? Or am I reaching and this is just a friendship song? It’s just that at some moments the confusion is real.
