Migos, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj Collaborate On "Motor Sport": New Song
Migos did it. While it is not surprising for the hip hop trio to release new music every other day, it is surprising for them to have been the first act to make the two current reigning female rappers in the game, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj, spit on the same track. Who knew Migos would have the honor? Did the fact Migos member Offset is Cardi B’s boyfriend help the unexpected collaboration come about? That would only explain Cardi B’s involvement. But Nicki's? She has publicly complimented Cardi B for her success with “Bodak Yellow” but that doesn’t erase the fact that Cardi B is Nicki Minaj’s most direct competition. And collaborating with her, although being a humble act, could also be understood that Nicki is saying she thinks Cardi B and her are on the same level. And this doesn’t sound like an affirmation that could be of the liking of Nicki’s fans or the executives of her label. Good or bad decision? What do you think?
The Migos, Cardi B, and Nicki Minaj song is called “Motor Sport”. The hip-hop jam was released on digital platforms on Friday night. The lyrics of the song hear all three acts rapping about how cool they are, they money they have, the power and influence they possess, etc. Who rapped the best? Tough call. The level was very similar. They all showed off incredible flow.
