Mariah Carey - 'Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse' [Album Lyrics]
Previously titled 'The Art of Letting Go', Mariah Carey's 14th LP is now known as 'Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse', a title she got the inspiration from her first self-portrait she drew as a kid. The album is fixed for release on May 27th, 2014 and in a Billboard Magazine feature Mariah promised an 'all-at-once digital release' for it. She lied.
First, two songs from the album were already of public dominion; 'Beautiful' and 'You're Mine'. Secondly, because she dropped a new single last week, 'Thirsty', and then this week, a new track featuring Wale, 'You Don't Know What To Do'. And third, because today, May 20th, she's authorized a full stream of 'Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse' on iTunes radio. So this doesn't strike as 'all-at-once digital release' AT ALL.
On her 14th studio album, Mariah worked with producers such as Jermaine Dupri, Hit-Boy Rodney Jerkins, Q-Tip, Nathan Perez, or Mike Will Made It.
Collaborations on 'Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse' include those with; Miguel, Wale, Nas, Fabolous, Mary J. Blige or R. Kelly.
