Macklemore's New Song "Marmalade" Featuring Lil Yachty Has One Great Lyric; "F*ck Trump" - Listen
Here’s a new song from rapper Macklemore to you. Entitled “Marmalade”, the piano-based tune is a collaboration with Lil Yachty and you can expect to see it, alongside “Glorious”, in the tracklisting of Macklemore’s forthcoming solo album when it comes out later in 2017. This will be his first project since he announced he was partying ways with Ryan Lewis.
What’s exactly the title of the song about? Here’s a quick explanation by way of a set of “on the money” lyrics: “Can’t nobody get up in my car today / Backseat feeling like a charter plane / Bumpin’ Silkk Da Shocker, Charge It 2 da Game / Paint dripping like I’m whipping marmalade.” This is Macklemore rapping in the first verse. Meanwhile, when Lil Yachty’s time to spit bars comes, he will use his time to vent off about his frustration with two things he hates about America: “Fuck the cops, and fuck Donald Trump”.
Doesn't the Trump line feel great in a day where the idiotic U.S President has announced this?

Anyhow, it must be noted Macklemore’s upcoming Ryan Lewis-less album won’t be his solo debut. Before becoming a household name with “Thrift Shop”, Macklemore released a solo album titled “The Language of My World” in 2005.
