Lorde’s Lollapalooza 2017 Set Cut Short Due To Bad Weather: Watch Her Dramatic Exit
Lorde was forced to cut short her much-anticipated set at Lollapalooza 2017 at Grant Park in Chicago due to bad weather on Thursday night. Lorde only managed to perform 3 songs, under a heavy rainstorm, before the festival organization decided it was the best to cancel the show at that point.

Most likely Lorde didn’t know at that very stage-departure moment of the final decision from the festival organization. She must've assumed she would return on stage after the rain stopped. But only minutes later the organization played the following message on loop through the loudspeakers: “The show will not continue, please clear the park immediately. Follow instructions from the park and Chicago police”.
The rain was very bad! So the decision was totally understandable.
