Lorde Debuts “Melodrama” Unreleased Track In Concert, Covers Frank Ocean
Lorde teased earlier this week she may perform an unreleased track from the “Melodrama” album at the kick off of the North American leg of her “Melodrama World Tour” yesterday. And I’m happy to say she delivered on that tease and, in fact, gave us a little bit more.
At the a sold-out BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin before 20,000 fans, New Zealand princess Lorde debuted a “new song” called “Precious Metals” (at least that’s the title circulating the Internet at the moment) and performed a cover of Frank Ocean’s “Solo” too.

The Frank Ocean cover was a little bit “thank you but no thank you” but the unreleased song was EVERY-THING. Why the hell would she deny “Precious Metals” the opportunity to be on the “Melodrama” album when clearly the song deserved it? The vibe of this song is hot! And I loved how Lorde lost it a bit to the beat (I did too as I watched this performance). She was in the zone!
