Super good music video, girls! It’s a shame it is for a kind of mediocre song, though. *sniff sniff*
You already know my feelings about Little Mix’s new single “Woman Like Me”. It’s a step back for the girls musically and a copy of Ariana Grande’s “Side to Side” and Beyoncé’s “Diva”. But the music video they premiered for the song this Friday morning, that’s stunning and I won’t deny. Definitely one of Little Mix’s best music videos to date. I loved every location they shot at, every look, their stunning make-up, and I particularly got my life from the chair-choreography and truck scenes. What about you, guys? “Woman Like Me” is the lead single from Little Mix’s upcoming fifth studio album “LM5”, which arrives in stores on November 16. Is the single performing OK? Well, it’s nowhere to be found on the Top 100 Songs Chart of US iTunes and it’s as of this post at #5 on the Top 100 Songs Chart of UK iTunes – which really the market Little Mix are targeting. But #5 in the UK isn’t that great to be honest especially if I tell you “Woman Like Me” is being beaten right now by Rita Ora’s “Let You Love Me” – which is an ‘older’ song.
