What a STUNNING R&B SONG!
Sevyn Streeter has just made my day.
She released a brand new single called "Before I Do" on digital stores yesterday and it is too stunning for words.
This is a guitar-driven R&B ballad where Sevyn vulnerably sings about how she needs to get the truth out of a man (who's possibly already seeing somebody) before giving herself to him. "I heard you got a girlfriend / But you're saying it ain't so, that you ain't on the low / But I really need to know before I go there with you", sings Ms. Streeter in her sensual new single.
This is just too pretty.
I love the melody, the instrumentation, and of course Sevyn's perfect vocals.
"Before I Do" is BY FAR my favorite song to date from Sevyn's debut studio album "Girl Interrupted", which will be released in January 2017 via Atlantic Records.
