Listen to Colbie Caillat's Babyface-Written New Song "Just Like That"

colbie caillat 2014 album

And just like that Colbie Caillat amazes me again. The "Bubbly" star (that song will always be one of my favorites) unexpectedly released an EP called “Gypsy Heart (Side A)” last June - Colbie was the first artist to pull a “BEYONCÉ’ after Beyoncé - featuring the hit "Try" (have you seen the make-up-less video?). Now on September 30th, the beautiful blonde singer-songwriter will drop the expansion to the EP, which will become Colbie's official fourth full-length studio album, just called “Gypsy Heart” (told you it was an expansion). The album is currently available for pre-order on iTunes and today (September 3) a new track called “Just Like That” has been liberated for individual purchase. Go to iTunes if you want to get it, or just check out our exclusive stream below.

“Just Like That” song review

Written by the one and only Babyface, “Just Like That” proves the acoustic sound of the “Side A” EP - 100% recommended - will be continued on the “Gypsy Heart” album. “Just Like That” is a mid-tempo organic pop song where Colbie sings about being in a turbulent relationship. “Every single time you pull me in you push me out again”, sings a mad Colbie in the pre-chorus of the newly-unveiled song. She’s had enough, though. And now Colbie is the one in control and she's going to ditch that bad boy forever.
