Listen To A Preview Of Adam Lambert’s New Song “Welcome To The Show” - Out March 17th!
What a surprise did Adam Lambert just drop this Monday morning (March 14) on Twitter when he let his millions of followers know about the new music that is coming.
There’s a new song from the “American Idol” Season 8 runner-up called “Welcome to the Show” that will be getting released on iTunes this coming Thursday, March 17th. And if you purchased Adam’s latest studio album “The Original High” last year, then you know that this song isn’t included on that album, nor in any “special” edition that was later released. “Welcome to the Show” is completely BRAND NEW MUSIC.
About this upcoming new track, Mr. Lambert said the following in a press release:
“I wanted to surprise my fans with a new, uplifting anthem for the spring. I asked Max Martin for help and he paired me up with two great writers and producers; Ali Payami, who worked with me on ‘Ghost Town,’ and Swedish star Laleh who is also a featured vocalist on the track. I feel this song will give people strength to be exactly who they are”
Produced by Max Martin and co-written by Ali? Two of the people that helped Adam in 2014’s underrated and flawless “The Original High”? I approve! But what about this girl Laleh? I can only imagine that she is a some artist that Max and Ali are trying to “make happen”, and they asked Adam for this favor - to include her on his new song.

“Welcome to the Show” sounds pretty nice from this 30-sec snippet. It seems that what can be heard in the preview below is one of verses of the song. And although we can’t totally figure out yet how the production is going to be, it is giving me strong Kiesza vibes - in the sense this could be a deep-house record…but what we will see!
Also, is this going to be a “new single” from an upcoming new album? From Adam’s words in his description of the song above, it gives the impression that this is just a one-off song for the fans, and not a prelude to his fourth studio album (yet). Anyhow! It’s new music and we should all be grateful!
