Lin-Manuel Miranda Releases Charity Single "Almost Like Praying" For Puerto Rico With Camila Cabello & Many More: Music Video
Lin-Manuel Miranda just released a charity single entitled “Almost Like Praying” to support all of those affected by the devastation of hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. All the proceeds from the sales of this song The Hispanic Federation’s Unidos Disaster Relief Fund, which is currently already helping many people in Puerto Rico.
“Almost Like Praying” features Marc Anthony, Ruben Blades, Camila Cabello, Pedro Capo, Dessa, Gloria Estefan, Fat Joe, Luis Fonsi, Juan Luis Guerra, Alex Lacamoire, John Leguizamo, Jennifer Lopez, Rita Moreno, Ednita Nazario, Joell Ortiz, Anthony Ramos, Gina Rodriguez, Gilberto Santa Rosa, PJ Sin Suela, Tommy Torres, and Ana Villafañe.
In the lyrics, all of the singers will name-drop all of the 78 municipalities that make up Puerto Rico (so you know in advance what all of those unfamiliar “words” you will hear in the song are).
